Terms of Service

Last updated: 06 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Saba Quran website and your booking of live 1-on-1 online Quran classes ("Services"). By booking a trial class, enrolling, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our Services.

1. Who we are

Saba Quran provides live, 1-on-1 online Quran and Islamic studies classes taught by vetted teachers, booked through this website and delivered via video call.

2. Eligibility and bookings on behalf of a child

If the student is a minor, the booking must be made by their parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for supervising the child's use of the video call link. Adults may also book classes for themselves.

3. The free trial

We offer one free trial class per family, with no card required. We aim to confirm a trial time within 24 hours of booking. A trial does not obligate you to enroll in a paid plan.

4. Classes, scheduling & attendance

  • Standard plans run Monday to Friday. Weekend-only or otherwise custom schedules can be arranged through our custom package request.
  • If a student does not attend a scheduled class, that class is not charged and is not paid to the teacher; we'll contact you by email to arrange a reschedule.
  • Class times are matched to your stated time zone and availability window; please keep this information accurate and let us know if it changes.

5. Pricing & billing

  • Current prices are shown on our pricing page and may be billed weekly or monthly, at your choice.
  • If you negotiate a custom rate with us, we lock it to your account; future changes to our public pricing do not silently affect an existing student.
  • Payment is currently arranged by bank transfer and invoiced manually. We are introducing card payments via a processor such as Stripe or PayPal; once available, these terms will be updated to reflect that flow.
  • Discounts (sibling, referral, long-term billing, or need-based) are applied manually by our team once eligibility is confirmed.

6. Cancellations & refunds

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details on canceling an enrollment or requesting a refund for unused classes.

7. Conduct & safeguarding

Every teacher on our platform passes an ID check, a background/DBS-equivalent check, and an Ijazah review before teaching — see our Safeguarding Policy. To protect students and teachers alike, exchanging personal contact details or arranging classes outside the platform is not permitted, and messages are monitored for this. We expect all students, parents, and teachers to communicate respectfully.

8. Your account

Keep your login details confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

9. Intellectual property

Course materials, curriculum structure, and website content are owned by Saba Quran or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning but may not copy, redistribute, or resell them without our permission.

10. Limitation of liability

We work hard to vet our teachers and deliver a safe, high-quality service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service (e.g. due to internet or video-call outages) or specific learning outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saba Quran is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our Services.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Continuing to use our Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where Saba Quran is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not remove any statutory consumer protections you may be entitled to under the laws of your own country.
